VERTEX 70v

The Vertex 70v provide the unique possibility to acquire a complete far MID IR down to Terahertz spectrum from 8000 to 30  cm^-1 (~1 to 240 THz) with a resolution of 0.16cm^-1 and a scan rate of 15 spectra/s. With the evacuable optics bench of the VERTEX 70v vacuum FTIR spectrometer, peak sensitivity in the mid-, near and far IR/THz regions are obtained without the fear of masking very weak spectral features caused by water vapor or CO₂ absorptions. The system is equipped with two detectors: N₂ cooled MCT detector with spectral range 12000-600cm^-1 and responsivity >2×10¹⁰ cmHz^1/2.W and highly sensitive 4K Silicon bolometer (600 to 10 cm^-1 (0.3 – 18 THz)) with a NEP of 10^-13 W/Hz^1/2.
