Postdoctoral researcher at the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia in Genova since March 2014, working in the preparation and characterization of different nanomaterials.

After receiving her M. Sc. degree in Chemical Engineering in 2008, she started her Ph.D. degree at the Physical Chemistry Department (University of Salamanca). During the Ph.D. she carried out part of her research training in another institutions: Complex Systems Group (Complutense University of Madrid), CT-ISOM(Polytechnic University of Madrid), and a research fellowship stay at the Molecular Photochemistry Group at the Instituto Superior Tecnico of Lisbon (Portugal). She obtained her Ph.D. degree in May 2013 and after a short contract at the University of Salamanca in the framework of a collaborative University-Company Project, she joined to the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia at the NanoCrystal Photonics Lab, where now is developing her research.
