Dr. Wei Pan is a Distinguished Member of the Technical Staff at Sandia National Laboratories. He has made many important discoveries and contributions to the field of many-particle physics in low dimensional electron systems. He was a member of Organizing and Program committees of the 16th International Conference on Electronic Properties of Two-Dimensional System (EP2DS-16) and acted as a guest editor of Physica E. He serves as a member of Users Advisory Committee and was a member of Research Program Committee for the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory. He was awarded the 2007 Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers.
