María Moreno is professor of Electronics at the Department of Applied Physics of the University of Salamanca. She pursued her PhD studies at the Institute of Materials Science of Madrid (CSIC), obtaining her PhD degree in Physics from the Complutense University of Madrid. Before joining the University of Salamanca, she was a postdoctoral researcher at the Paul-Drude Institute of Solid-State Electronics (Berlin), a Ramón y Cajal researcher at the Institute of Materials Science of Madrid, and a research associate at the Semiconductor Physics group (Department of Physics) of the University of Cambridge (UK). She currently focusses her research on the development of high-performance 2D material-based electronic devices.
